I don't know about you, but Halloween is one of my favourite holidays. You have to admit that costumes have tended to get much better in recent years and with the addition of Halloween contact lenses you can now get an even better look for a small cost. There is no doubt that they add an extra something to any costume, as there is something deeply disturbing about eyes that don't look quite right!

For example on an Internet website I found once that make you look like a Pyro, or a Goliath, and you can imagine with the right costumes these would look incredibly scary! The great thing is they help to make your character look less like you and more like the scary beast it is meant to be for a small price.

However you have to be quite dedicated to want to buy crazy Halloween lenses because although they aren't expensive they can cost $20 which is a lot of money for only part of the costume. However if you really want to go that extra mile they make a fantastic addition to any costume that you might want to wear on that special scary night. On the other hand if you want specially painted contact lenses though these may be much more, in some case at a few hundred dollars, so unless you're planning on using it for many years to come it probably is a bit much for just a simple costume. You can also buy custom-made ones if you're going all out for the perfect outfit although for most people this is probably a bit excessive. It is tempting though, think how great you would look!

My personal favourite has to be the bright green contact lenses and one day I definitely want to dress up as a witch or wizard go out on the street with these on! Another idea could be to wear a different colour in each eye to give that extra frightening look, although maybe this is a little bit too far! The choice is really are endless and you are only limited by your imagination when it comes your Halloween costume.
