Money Saving Tips
Reversible Costumes- see images to right. Whether the year has treated your bank account badly, or you have two parties to go to this year you are set for a great night!
Swap with Friends- raid your friend's closets for old costumes and let them raid yours. You can even have a mid-October party and set up your home like a mini Halloween costume boutique to do the swapping don't forget to include all the accessories too!
Make Up Your Own Costume- see helpful websites below for inspiration. Anyone can be a crayon or a Ninja Turtle come up with a costume that plays with words or is an object most people would never think to make into a costume.
Buy for Next Year- make like a bandit after Halloween (at any store that sells costumes) and buy when they are on sale now, so you have something for next year. Just make sure it is not a super trendy year specific costume like an "It" celeb or movie character. It's possible to buy 2 or more costumes at the price of a regular full-price one this way.
