Halloween Wedding

It has come to my attention after writing my Gothic Wedding Dresses post that another new trend coming in to play is Halloween Weddings. As I was looking across the internet I have stumbled across many things for Halloween Weddings. I know a Halloween Wedding may seem unusual to some people, but hey, a wedding is supposed to be fun!

For your Halloween wedding you may want all of your guests in certain costumes, or you may just tell everyone to come dressed how they please. One thing I have heard of people doing is getting the wedding party to dress up as characters from certain movies such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This makes for a really fun time and will give all of your guests a good laugh.

Another type of Halloween wedding could be a Tim Burton Wedding. This could make for a fun atmosphere and also the Bride and Groom could dress the same as those is the Tim Burton film "The Corpse Bride." There are many characters in the movie that you could have everyone in your wedding party dress up as. If you are stuck for decoration ideas, why not watch The Corpse Bride to choose certain things you like from the movie.

For the Bride who may not want to dress up like any character in particular, there are now black wedding dresses that you can buy. You can find these dresses at some Bridal shops as they are becoming a new trend amongst our brides today. White is becoming less traditional so finding a black dress is not nearly as hard as it seems. Search on the internet for Black Wedding Dresses and you will be surprised at the selection you will come across. You can even find such things for sale cheap on EBay.

As I was searching the internet for my own wedding cake, I actually came across a traditional 3 tier wedding cake that was decorated for Halloween. It was a great looking cake and would be perfect for any Halloween Wedding. If you do a Google image search you will find a few Halloween style wedding cakes and maybe find the perfect one for you. If not, almost any cake shop will design the cake that you want. All you need to do is come up with the idea of your cake, explain it to the baker, and they will present you with your perfect Halloween Wedding cake.

Last but not least, invitations. You generally wouldn't want to send out traditional wedding invitations for a Halloween Wedding. There are some sites on the internet that allow you to create your own wedding invitations. You can include any photo you want and make the invitations exactly the way you want them for your Halloween Wedding. Or you could take the easier way out and even buy invitations for a Halloween party at any local party store and instead of inviting your friends to a regular Halloween party, use the invitations for your wedding.

To put a special touch on your Halloween Wedding, why not try to have it in the evening. Give your wedding the true Halloween feeling. A benefit of having your wedding on Halloween is that it is not as common of a time to get married so you tend to get cheaper prices everywhere you go. Have fun!
