Even though Halloween is really a American tradition which origionated in England, it has found its way around the world to Australia some people here don't like it but most people like myself and my family love it. I have 3 young children who love to dress up and go trick or treating you would be amaized with the lollies the kids bring back some people don't answer the door or say we don't celebrate Halloween here that's OK each to thier own but some people go out and have big Halloween parties in fact my sister in law is having one tomorrow night, at the moment I have no idea what to dress up as. I might go as myself and scare a few people at the party lol. But to me I love seeing the kids dress up in their costumes looking so cute and seeing big smile on their faces, so I say why not if Halloween gives kids a chance to have fun as well as bigger kids like me.

I remember a while back when Halloween wasn't that big in Australia but now it really has gone big and commercially shops are now selling Halloween costumes and novelty's and heaps of lollies for the kids so people can now go all out and do up the whole house and front yard with Halloween stuff the only thing I hate when you get the kids or people that spoilt for everyone Else like throwing rotten eggs at your house or something worse but I'm afraid in the real world it does happen be it rare. As I said I have 3 children two girls and and a boy and the thought of trick or treating gets them all excited usually my wife and my sister and niece's take the kids around the streets of my suburb before dark and the only drama is telling them they can't eat the lollies all in one go "boy" that's fun I can tell you .

I did not know Halloween was big enough in Australia to where trick or treating had become a tradition. I am glad to hear you love the holiday and I find it silly people make it out to be wicked. It is a fun day for kids and that is all.
