Standing still, I wait here
For a wave to wash over me
Expecting to be pulled under
And swept beneath the sea
From ashore I hear the seashells
Whispering my name
Hand on my brow to shade the sun
I seek clouds full of rain
Rays of warmth caress me
A slight breeze across my skin
I expect thunder and lightning to crash
When will the storm begin
No tears of God have fallen
No high tide, no wind, no rain
Although the sea is capable
I've been given sunlit days again

MissJamie- I came and read your Hubs on Narcissism .. though my situation is different as I am the daughter of one . . and I have a daughter that I may have passed some of it on to . .
