It appears the Hanna Montana costume is destined to be number one with young girls this Halloween. That's because Hanna Montana is hot. In fact, her TV show was rated as the most watched show on cable for six to 12-year-olds. And it's not just the TV series that's so popular, according to her fans, her concerts are really smokin'. They are THE place to be. On top of all that, there's an autobiography and a Hanna Montana movie due out in the spring. Her fans can't wait. They just can't get enough.

Still not quite sure who Hanna Montana is?

Hanna Montana is a Disney TV series about Miley Stewart. By day she is your typical teenage schoolgirl. But at night she turns into pop superstar Hanna Montana. Hannah's true identity is kept totally secret. Except for family and a few close friends, no one knows about Miley's double life.

Hannah and Miley Stewart are both played by real-life pop superstar/actress Miley Ray Cyrus. Miley Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus, on November 23, 1992. Her dad, country singing star, Billy Ray Cyrus, was actually a recluse at the time. He was trying to escape the fame created by his hit, "Achy Breaky Heart".

As a young girl, Destiny Cyrus was constantly smiling and thus was dubbed smiley. That somehow got shortened to Miley and the nickname stuck. Eventually Destiny had her name legally changed to Miley Ray Cyrus.

In 2005 she auditioned for a supporting role in a new Disney series called Hannah Montana. She was turned down for the role because Disney executives said she was too young and too small. But Miley wouldn't give up. She kept badgering Disney executives until they gave her another shot. Finally she won them over and got the leading role in the series as Hannah Montana.

The show has gone on to become a huge hit. In fact, it has gained almost a cult type of following among young girls.

The music from the show has become a big hit as well. When Disney and Miley released the Hannah Montana soundtrack, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard top 200. It eventually went to triple platinum.

Miley released her second album, "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus", in June, 2007. She sold over 1.1 million copies. Then in October of the same year she went on tour. It included 54 concerts that all sold out just about the same time tickets went on sale. Her popularity was beyond belief.

Her latest album, Breakout, was released in July, 2008. It also debuted at number one on Billboard's top 200 chart. Miley wrote all but two of the songs on the album, and it has a bit of an "older sound" to it. It's obvious that Miley's starting to grow up and coming into her own.

Next on the agenda for Miley will be an autobiography and a Hannah Montana movie, both due out in the spring of 2009.

Her book deal, signed with Disney publishing, will net Miley seven figures. The 15-year-olds autobiography will look at growing up on a farm in Tennessee, moving to Los Angeles to further her career, her road to fame, and her special relationship with her mom/manager, Leticia Cyrus.

Hannah Montana: the movie, which completed filming in July 2008, will be released May 1, 2009 to coincide with the release of Miley's autobiography. The movie is based on the TV show characters.

The story looks at how Miley Stewart's life is being totally consumed by Hannah Montana, and how her dad (played by Billy Ray Cyrus, her real dad) talks her into taking a break. They head back to Crowley Corners, Tennessee, their hometown. While there, Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana gains some perspective by looking at what's really important in life.

The movie is expected to be a big hit.
