Blowfish were once the iambic pentameter of their time and in honor of those wonderful dayz, I bring you Happy Blowfish Day to satisfy your needs for all thingz blowfish.
It's a good thing iambic pentameters are no longer the iambic pentameterz of the time, because those are harder to compose. :p
I think one of the first brushes with the original iambic pentameter I found right here on HubPages. It's a lovely poem by Poetic Muse found here:

"Blowfish testicles prepared by an unauthorized chef sickened seven diners in northern Japan and three remained hospitalized Tuesday after eating the poisonous delicacy..."
"The puffer fish, also known as blowfish, packs a deadly toxin, but it might save drug addicts.
Puffers are so-named because when threatened, they suck in water and swell to twice their normal size. Puffers can kill. Many parts of their body contain tetrodotoxin. It's stronger than cyanide. Specially trained chefs in Japan prepare safe parts of the fish as a delicacy, but now and then a diner dies.
Now a drug derived from tetrodotoxin is being used in a clinical trial by Wex Pharmaceuticals for treatment of withdrawal symptoms from drugs like heroin. The trial started this month and results are expected next year..."

I never had much luck with my beta. I'm not good at fish. I think that is why I like them best on the internet :) It sounds like you are a 'beta' fishparent than I. :D

Ahh! But I have my best anti-blowfish "stick-on-peel-off" wet suit on! Totally disposable in a green way because it dissolves once out of the water! It is impregnated with blowfish aura! All cool!

Children's Hospital here had a saltwater tank in the waiting area that contained a blowfish and other fish. Blowfish swam around and knocked the others aside when people came up to the tank. It was as if he was saying, "Get out of the way, the women prefer ME." lol

Well up to your usual standard. Hehe. I had a tropical Marine fish tank for some years, with a couple of puffer fish in it. I also had a trigger fish that would swim into your hand and let you pick him out of the water. When he died, I was so upset, I sold the whole tank. Oh well.....
:( Fish are really cool. My mother had an aquarium when I was a little kid, I still remember. I'm too dippy to keep one up so I don't try; it wouldn't be fair to the fish.
The dingo is a cross of basquiat's Dingoes in the Park which is a graffiti commentary on underbirdz/society and I can't even remember how the meat grinder got mixed into it and where it originated. To me, it's a symbol for a catalyst. You put stuff in and get something better out. :)

Exactly what happened to me.
I think it got me when I was reading up a health article on possible uses of the venom for helping addiciton and they had a photo. One look, and I fell hook, line and sinker for blowfish (so to speak). :)
Interesting creature...don't want one. Some things are bettr off left in the sea. I'm sure they hate us...at least mad at us, why else would they be all puffed up like that? I tried to puff up like that once (when I was a kid) and almost passed out.

While I was writing that I noticed that Hubpages banned my 'Last Dance' Sestina. I can see their point, but literature shouldn't be cast into the same heap as porn. Most of the Shakespearean poems would have gotten the axe by Hubpages.

depends on what part of them you eat. I suppose the joy of them is all about risk-taking. I think mine was poisonous. :(
