The computer age is well and truly here. Email has pretty much replaced the written word and made letters almost redundant in today’s society. This is why
Why Are Happy Easter Ecards Replacing Paper Cards
We
all know that the information age is upon us, folks are more often than
not utilizing technology to communicate their emotions and feelings.
Many people appear to be texting each other now rather than picking up
the phone to chat. Furthermore, email is replacing more and more
avenues of the written word replacing the pen and pencil.
Some people are adamant that the loss of the written word is not a good
thing; however it seems to be a growing trend. This type of stuff is
even filtering into how we express ourselves during the holiday season.
So we can blame technology for the fact that more and more people are
now opting to send a happy easter ecard this year rather than the more
traditional physical easter card.
The happy easter ecard is just like a normal card that you would get in
the mail, only it is sent electronically through email. There are many
variations of different happy easter ecard varying from very simple to
way over the top.
Paper easter cards are stagnant and one dimensional, whereas happy
easter ecards can be dynamic and exciting often containing video clips
and clever little jokes and animations that can be cool to receive in
your inbox.
The Demise of the Traditional Easter Ecard
You may send a loved one a happy easter ecard with good intentions,
only to get completely the opposite response - they hated it!
You can understand why, a happy easter ecard will be buried in a ton of
other junk email you may get that day, whilst a traditional paper card
can be a keepsake for many years.
With an ecard you may also give off the impression that the person does
not matter enough to you to send them anything other then a happy easter ecard. This is something that you are going to want to really
consider so that you do not accidentally make anyone upset or make hurt
feelings.
Of course, if that is the message that you are trying to get across
then that is the perfect way to do it. This is not to say that everyone
who receives a happy easter ecard from you is going to think that you
do not care, but it seems that even though this route is becoming more
popular, people still enjoy getting regular cards through the mail.
You will know best whether your relationship with someone lends itself
to an ecard or whether you have to bite the bullet and send them a real
one.
