Happy Families? by Mad Me!

As always when I am driving every where I normally am quite observant. Something that my mom and dad thought us when we used to travel in the good old days in a Kombie which was always very slow on the uphills. Look around and see if you can see something interesting, we even went as far as counting windmills. I being single maybe am more aware of what happens in vehicles around me. I suppose like most women I am searching for that elusive happy ever after ending where my expectation far exceeds my actual needs. I watch as I drive and or stop at a stop street as I travel along. Do you ever watch peoples body language. Its quite interesting. Some people are there just so they can get from A to B as quickly as possible. You might find a mom with a child on the back seat the needs a bottle. You watch her trying to get at the bottle to give to the child - wow some maneuvering. Then there is the couple that you see are trying there best to ignore each other. This morning I saw two guys travelling along and the one guy was so busy chatting to the passenger that I felt he must have his head spinning by the time he gets to his destination. Some days and this appears to be more on a Friday night you will see a young couple who are really glad to see each other and they are really full of smiles and laughter. Probably looking forward to an awesome week end together or at least part thereof. Then you have me who loves to look at things and always bring it to the attention of my passenger however the school girl I actually give a lift to in the morning is not a morning person and has been brought up very differently to me so all I get is a nod.
You might spy an overloaded building contractors vehicle and wonder where on earth the traffic cops are and if any of then would actually fall from the back of the vehicle and if so what would happen to them...... I have a sick sense of humour sometime and could be quite graphic about what would happen if they fell under the next moving vehicle. I wonder if I would stop! Maybe call for help but it might be tooo late for the poor victim! Then there is always someone who appears to be extremely angry, sometime even shouting at their children as they drive. Then there is the total silent concept. No not talk, to not eat in my car syndrome.
And so this brings me to my conclusion of this story - I wonder if there any happy families left out there. Whenever we went any where we where always chatting or learning something.

Yes there are! the car syndrome, I think comes about , following the freedom available now , that when we are altogether in such a confined space, tensions do rise. when the car stops the happy family resumes again. Bit like the commercials in the middle of a film, lol
