Hard work pays off

Many times people say that not "hard work" but "smart work" is the key to success. To some extent they may be right. But we cannot avoid "Hard Work" completely.   Many videos and self help books which are trying to sell the idea of smart work rather than hard work is gaining popularity now a days. That is why many people fell into the trap of get rich quick scams. No one wants to do the hard work. Many of the trainers and counselors has a book or video or audio which says "attract" or "manifest" success or things in your life teach smart work. They also teach "hard work" is not a necessary to reach the top. But just work smart. Just think about what you want and you will receive it miraculously.

Many of us very often fell into this kind of attractive teachings and sit back and dream about the thinks what we want forgetting the things we need to do to get it. Due to which many of us are struggling ourselves in many areas of our life, especially in finance. If you ask any successful person he will testify that it took every ounce of his energy to reach that position.

Looking at the successful person who has money, power, wealth, and high paying job etc. "the person on the street" will tell you it is luck, genetics, white skin, brown nose etc. etc. that get him all that he has. Also he assure you that those lucky people didn't do anything more or better than him! And the teachers will say that they manifest their dreams through meditation or vision board or through visualizing.

You may say by visualizing or meditating or doing mind-mapping about the things what you want in your life can change your vibration which attract things to you. But let me tell you whatever you have in your life is not just because of your visualization of attraction which brought it in to your life. If you analyze, you will find that you have taken focused action and which has risks.

Do you think, if Michael Phelps, the greatest swimmer could achieve all that he achieved in his life with an attitude of work smart and not work hard? What if he just dreamed of winning gold instead of training all those thousands of hours over all those years? I can certainly tell you that he would not have even gotten the Olympics, let alone win 14 gold medals over the span of two Olympics.

Margin of his 100 meter butterfly in Beijing was only 1/100th of a second had to be verified by a camera that could analyze frames shot 1/10000 of a second apart. His thousand of hours of hard work in the water paid off. Pretty smart guy worked so hard.

If you are stuck up with the modern teaching of imagination, it is the time for you to put off all that wild imagination and get on to hard work.

I am a strong believer in hard work. Without hard work our vision is just that...a vision. It is hard work and perseverance that make the vision a reality. Thanks for the reminder. :D

This is very inspiring! That's what I need to do more of. I need to work harder, it isn't always easy I know but the ending result can be remarkable. Thanks!
