So here are my final words on Harry Potter -- I promise!

Scholastic estimated that 8.3 million copies of the 12 million first printing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows sold in the U.S. on Saturday.

The New York Times estimates that Americans spent close to $170 million (they used an average price per book was $20). The Seattle Times calculated this meant more than 300,000 copies per hour or more than 5,000 a minute.

Worldwide, Borders sold 1.2 million copies of the book, Amazon said it had delivered almost 1.3 million copies of the book in the U.S., WalMart report 500,000 copies sold and Barnes & Noble reports 1.3 million copies.

Pretty amazing! And they said there was no money in kid's books!

I heard New York Times removed Harry Potter from the Best Seller List. Even if they remove it, it doesn't matter will be a top seller for a long time. She will become a trillionaire with the movies and books. Nobody can replace the popularity of Harry Potter for a long time.
