From the moment I saw my first Havanese, till now I have only had my Heart open up more and more with Love and Laughter and total Delight because of this amazing breed. They are Healthy, Sound and very agreeable in their way of Being with me, each other and other breeds. They love their families, and treasure every moment you allow them to entwine into your daily life. I could not imagine ever not having one or many of these special Angels in my life.

In the past six years, I have increased my doggie family with a couple of puppies purchased from good breeders, that continue to prove to me the stable and distinct quality of this gloriously sweet breed of dog. I have shown two girls to Championship status with AKC and I have bred several litters of lovely genetically sound puppies that have provided new pet parents and families with new treasured furbaby additions to their homes and lives and often a second addition at a later time which I believe is a credit to the breed and a credit to my way of caring for them.

It is a desire of mine to continue to breed beautiful Havanese puppies at a moderately small pace. This offers me the opportunity to always have young puppies at hand as their smart, funny little antics are simply heavenly to observe and care for, and never compromise the love and time I can give to my adult dogs that live with me. Amazingly everyone gets along and I know from their overall behavior that the adults love the babies just about as much as I do. It is so much fun to see the way everyone accepts the new addition to our family when I choose to keep a puppy from a litter and include her or him into our family fold.

All my dogs live with me in my home. I am a clean freak and within a few weeks of integrating a new puppy to the larger picture of my family home, we have a well trained (potty) addition to accept and hold dear into our hearts.

It is indeed an experience to live daily with so many little scrambling bodies of love all around at my feet, and they do take turns as far as who gets to come into the kitchen for special treats... even when some are coralled behind the gates in the other room they will still get their treats, their carrots, their chunks of brocolli and cauliflower or brussel sprouts which they love. The minute the knife hits the chopping board, they are all anxiously sounding off their special requests.

We live in the South Central part of Oklahoma about 20 minutes from the main highway south of Oklahoma City to Dallas/Fortworth on 4 acres of lovely land with a pond, trees and lots of birds, deer, and a few squirals and bunnies.

We have one lovely young/big boy Great Pyrenees who patrols our homestead and keeps us alert of any visitors. He is another story, another hub.... altogether, yet is fulfilling his requrements to keep us all on our toes.

Every day is lovely and in each moment I am grateful for the bounty and beauty of living with my family of Havanese and others... no less special, just perhaps a wee bit less clever than the incredibly wonderful Havanese.
