I have always believed in my abiliity to fight if I had to. Besides eyes and groin there is the adams apple, nose, knee cap and instep just to name a few.

Intilectutually I know what to do, but it's the practice that will strengthen my belief in my self defense abilities.

I've always thought I could fight if threatened but when it happened I was in shock. This course sounds like a good way to avoid having the same situation occur.

Thanks for the article. I'm glad you mentioned size isn't as critical factor as my mind makes it out to be.

Although I'm not very strong, I think my mind is going to be the toughest block to defending myself because I tend to panic and act silly under situations which frighten me. I hope this class can help me find that survival instinct and teach me how to keep my cool.

I don't know what I would do in a situation where self-defense wsa needed. I like to think I know what to do, but I probably don't. I do believe that I have the strength to protect myself, I just need to learn how.

I always wished I could defend myself, not only when I was bullied at school, but later when I ended up with violent partners. I got to the stage I did hit back in later life, but only because I was so angry at always being the target. Great Hub.

Thank you for caring and offering this to people. I was chased in a park while walking my dog. I remember the sick feeling of vunerability. I was ok as adreniline took over when I ran. This will be awsome to learn and it is the mind that makes us scared and if you can show us how to think in a differant way, I mybe can walk my dog feeling safe again specially at night.

I agree that it'd help to think about for whom I'd be fighting for. That'd be very useful in a hopeless situation.
