GET YOUR AFFORDABLE BEACH WEDDING DRESSES HERE

As a recently engaged and excited bride-to-be, I too was consumed within the predictable overwhelm of beach wedding planning for a good few months.Everyone around you constantly asking have you started planning your beach wedding yet?

While it really was a great adventure to scout out beach wedding locations, taste wedding cake, try to fit into countless wedding gowns, maybe that's my problem right there, I should have tried the gowns first before eating the cake.

But it was all a learning experience, since as much as the planning my beach wedding has added a new dimension of anxiety; it also has brought me great joy knowing that I was involved in every detail in planning my own beach wedding since the start.

Hi I'm Betsy. I consider my beach wedding to have eventually been a success despite the hard road at the start.

I want to share with you some of the trials and tribulations from the planning of my beach wedding. Now that the honeymoon is over, I can look back on some of the main problem areas that future beach wedding couples like yourself should look out for.

It will be just great if I could to get some feedback too along the way, from anyone else out there who has encountered some of the these trials and hopefully we can together come up with solutions to advise future beach wedding brides in similar situations.

The key to success for me I have to say was budgeting upfront and sticking to my guns.

Here's what I did,as I like to call it How to plan beach wedding planning. I sent out my beach wedding invitations seven months before the beach wedding day,

Yes, 7 months and some people thought it was far too early, but given the current financial situation, I thought it would be best to give all guests enough time to plan their own budget for any clothes and travel costs they may incur. I also made sure that everyone RSVP's within a month of receiving an invite.

While I waited for the guests to confirm their attendance, I had 2 consultations with a professional planner.

I wanted to be apart for the wedding planning from day one so didn't want a full time planner. At the same time I also didn't want to be reinventing the wheel or make silly obvious mistakes.

A few ways of finding good planners can come from recommendations of family and friends or you can find them in the phone book or internet.

I set up just 2 consultations, in which I got vital information from them regarding the all important beach wedding checklist and budgeting advice which set me on the right path.

I will now share with you some of the key items on that checklist.

Locating Your Beach Wedding

TIPS ON FINDING THE IDEAL LOCATION

I can't stress enough how important this is, choosing the right location will help you decide on theme of the wedding, dress style even colour choices.

David and I must have considered at least a hundred different local and international locations.

But the most important thing in both of our lives are our families whom we wanted to share the special day with, so we began cutting out several international locations like Bali and even the gulf of Mexico seemed too far.

In the end we settled for a location which was not just full of beautiful beaches but it's also family orientated. We choose South Carolina.

We thought it would be a good vacation time for most of our family too, seeing as they drove out all the way to Charleston, they may as well take time to enjoy some of the Southern charm the area had to offer.

When you decide on your ideal location ask yourself these key questions;

1. Can I afford the exotic island getaway, Maldives Caribbean? If you can't but still desire an island break, why not consider options closer to home like Hawaii.

2. Consider the budget of your family and friend as much as your own, you wouldn't want them spending a small fortune to fly half way across the world ,if family is important to you then why not list locations which appeal to you but are also within driving or flying distance for the majority of your guests.

3. Once you have these two items nailed down then can you consider finer details like whether or not you want a beach sunset or a beach sunrise. If the sunset is what you after then its best to go to the western shores of you chosen region.

Are you well Groomed?

KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THE GROOM'S ATTIRE & LOOK LIKE THE PERFECT MATCH

With all the choices in wedding gown style, fabric and fit available we brides have a mission of our own with choosing that ideal beach wedding dress, that's we sometimes tend overlook the beach wedding attire of our groom.

How disastrous would it be if he turned up in jammies and a floral shirt and you in an elegant white dress, it would just be a complete mismatch.

This is why communication between you and your groom is most important during the planning stage of the beach wedding, after all its not just your wedding, it is his too.

My David and I had a tough time settling on options, he's a loud eccentric who wanted bold colours, while I am more in favour of elegant simplicity.

In the end we did find the solution, I got my simple yet elegant dress, but accessorised with bold bright colours for my flowers and my shoes, and David oped for a white shirt so we certainly did look like the perfect match on our beach wedding day.

Beach wedding attire for groom's offer just as many choices as brides wear does and the groom may also consider the length of his pants if you choose to have the ceremony on the shore.

Though it is also easy for him to roll them up easily should you take pictures along on the water .He should however then opt for more casual fabrics like line or cotton.
Similarly as you may not want a 10ft trein, he may not want to wear a tie or maybe even a heavy formal suite jacket.

These are just some of the options you could consider as a couple to ensure that you do look like the match made in heaven on your beach wedding day.

Treat Yourself To Something Sweet

SAMPLE AS MANY CAKES AS YOU CAN

I mentioned earlier that I had been tasting far too much cake, well it's not that I don't have a sweet tooth.

It's just that the planner had mentioned to me an awful story of a wedding she'd attended where the cake was made by the bride's aunt.

She was by record an excellent baker and the cake looked extravagant but it apparently wasn't cooked. I was horrified and didn't want the same happening to me.

So I took the planners advice and got tasting at several different bakeries and even took along friends and families for their opinions. It was all worth it in the end since my beach wedding cake was definitely cooked.

Here a few key considerations when choosing the cake

1. Know your guests allergies, just incase half the grooms family is diabetic or lactose intolerant, you may want to consider what the alternatives would be. Consider the inside of the cake as much as you will the appearance. Raisons in a fruit cake may not be popular with everyone.

2. To be getting the help of a professional baker you will have several options to choose from and will almost be guaranteed of a quality product.

The key is to select as many vendors as possible, sample their work, choose your favourite then get family and friends opinions and finally ask the vendor for a discount you may just get it.

By shopping around you may just get a showstopper cake that not only looks good but is simply delicious too.
