That's what I used to say when I went to confession when I was a little girl. I didn't actually sin but that's what you were supposed to say. Anyway, I began this hub this way because it is a confession of sorts. My confession is, I used to think people who bought toys and things for their pets on Christmas were overdoing it. That all changed when I got a pet of my own: My little bunny.

As a reformed Pet Grinch, I can say in all honesty and with chagrin that yes, our pets deserve to be included at Christmastime because not only are they our pets; they are members of our family.
