how to get yourself out of credit card debt

I have been deeply in debt with credit cards on several occasions. the first time happened in 1979. Here in Australia we got Bankcards back in 1975. I got my first when I was 19 back in 1977. I must have been one of the first to get them. I was so young ,so lacking inknowlege and training. So unaware of the real dangers.

One rule on credit cards which no-one seems to get! So ill put it in capitals.

CREDIT CARDS GIVES ONE A FALSE SENSE OF WEALTH !

okay! Now you have got it will you please remember it. NO! don't tell me I didnt tell you when you come back to me with the same problem in three years time; Right?

Okay how to get out.

Firstly try to get control before the card are cancelled by the bank.

Put them in a tray of water and put them in the freezer compartment of the fridge.

If you need clothes go to the op shops. Salvation Army/St Vincent De Paul. Those sort of places. You can buy a 100 dollar pair of Levi's for five bucks.

Stop drinking in night clubs

eat food only when your hungry.

make a payment to your credit card debt every day even if its only five dollars

that way you'll keep the banks and there all the same off your back !

just keep doing what i said and depending on the size of your debt you'll pay it off without too much damage to your credit report or FICO score
