Have you Rejected your Gift or Talent?

As I was reading Matthew 25:14-26 again - The Parable of the Talents - I began looking at my gifts and the talents that I have been given.There is no way I came across network marketing because it was the page to read on the Internet for the day. It struck my attention. Not just got my attention it did not get my attention it STRUCK my attention.

It became a true interest that I woke up one day and said "I want to learn to build web pages." I began the adventure of learning and that lead to blogging and then that lead to SEO. That lead to more optimizing a web page then Copywriting.

That is not something I thought hum... wonder where this came from? It is a gift that has been given to me. I have a talent that is coming out. You are the same way. You did not happen upon this blog because it was a fluke. It was meant for you to read.

Let's say you have a gift to sing. Someone hears you and says "what a beautiful voice" and you comment - "Oh it is nothing I use it to sing in the shower." God gave you that gift to sing - you just said it was nothing and you hind it in the shower so no one can hear you.

Let's say you draw. Someone tells you what a awesome talent you have to free hand a scene like that. You say"I can't draw I just play with it I doodle it is nothing." That is a gift that was given to you that you are playing with. Most people hide their talents and gifts because they are afraid. FEAR holds them back from stepping up. You are not reading about network marketing - this blog or other blog's by freak accident.

You remember when you began the job your working now and you were not all that good in the beginning? Over time your boss trained you molded you and before you know it you are performing that job with out someone telling you how daily. God is your promoter: He knows what you can handle and what you can not.

It is build in - you are programmed for your abilities and gifts. YOU have to bring them out. You are not going to end up trying to work at something you can not comprehend. You will understand and get the skill as you are ready. This week out of no where you may all of a sudden understand how to blog. Or build a hub page -or use Myspace. It is like the light comes on and you can understand it. That is not a fluke!

People hind their gift because of fear of what others will think. Guess what. WHO CARES! The bible says - Many are called few are chosen. If you have a talent God intends for you to use it - and double it. Whatever your gift is He wants you to grow it. He gave you your smarts. If you have a great brain he gave it to you. USE it. Do not be little your gifts. Honor him by using your gift.

Start using your gifts without fear without hesitation without confusion. You will complete one area at a time when you increase your ability you will be given more (the next step). Stop comparing your talents to someone else they have walked through steps like you have too.

Knock down1 - Get up2 !!

When I look back two years and I see how far I have come. I get excited because I see the increase in my ability. I know I have more to learn and I go toward it with excitement and spirit of excellence. I was born with a desire to be better and I give it my best. I have crawled out from under a lot of rocks and rose up.

The same God that gave me strength to stand up when I was knocked down is also wanting to promote you. No one starts at the top. NO ONE !!! The bumps and bruises and scars are the learning tools that brought you to this stage. Welcome !!
