Break out those winter sweaters, gloves, boots, etc. Time to have snow fun. Grab that snowboard, skies,. Don't forget your hot coco you will definately need it before you step outside. Talk about FREEEEEZIng!! WOW, temps around 50 below. You may want to grab your thick backpack for all that extra hot coco, those portable hot soups you may have in the food pantry.
Grab that hooded thick lined coat you will definately need it. And, the thickest leather or cloth lined gloves you have handy. Also, don't forget the moisturizer you will also need that too. The winter air can do alot of damage to your hands and complexion. Not to mention your hair.
Try avoiding licking your lips to prevent chapped lips. Apply lip balm instead of moistening your lips. Also, always take a shower the night before in the winter to avoid possibly coming down with the flu. Your immune system is quite vulnerable during the winter. There is minimal sun to dry your hair or body. Even if you wear a hooded coat your hair and face may or will get hit by the cold hair. That cold air can/may infect you when you least expect it.
Also, invest in eucalypetus insense products to help with cleaning out your sinuses the night before. And, be careful breathing too deep you may get dizzy or light headed.
When making soups for the days event try making plenty for a friend or two. Sharing is always nice.
Also, when you go out try investing in polarize sunglasses. With uva and uvb protection that also goes for summer weather as well. You will also be impressed with the clarity of the polarized sunglasses. And, how rich in color your environment will be.
Winter is also time to grab those summer sales as well. At those consignement shops.

I remember those days in central Wisconsin when just walking to the mailbox, one would have to wrap scarves around one's nose and mouth and naturally have one'e head and ears covered with a hooded jacket. Happy to now live in the South!
I like snow - just don't get to see it very often!
