Hawthorne is the newest TNT series. Jada Pinkett Smith is Hawthorne.

In a lot of ways, this show reminds me of House by the idea that she likes to break rules, but she does it for the patients. Hawthorne is a nurse while house is a doctor.

She will not stop at anything for the patients. Unlike House, she is caring and has a daughter to take care of. Through the course of the series, you learn a little bit more about the characters as you watch the shows. Hawthorne had lost her husband to cancer and the first episode does show some of that information.

She has a rebellious daughter whom fights her every turn she makes.

I liked it.  If you like medical dramas, you just may like this show.  Check it out and see for yourself.  Its played on Tuesdays nights at 8PM central time.
