Wow, I was taken away from the news that was the Sex scandals of Dr. Hayden Kho.
"Hayden Kho is likened to Edison Chen, the HongKong actor who was also involved in this same scandal way back in 2008."
But the difference was that based on the pictures and videos in the Edison Chen scandal, "most of the women involved were aware of being filmed or their pictures taken." To cut it short there was informed consent. Yes, they were intimate, private and personal moments shared and they weren't for public consumption. The only fault was that why on earth would you keep a file of these private memories that can be easily accessed by unsuspecting and enterprising people. Whether the scandal was done for monetary reasons or just plain revenge, still there is no good reason for such.
Having known Hayden Kho since college, the immoral act shocked me. What was he thinking? Is his sanity still intact? Is he really psychologically incapacitated? Having graduated from the Pontifical, Catholic University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, has any of the dominican principles ever stucked in his mind or was he resistant to any of these. Way back in college, he was already popular then and most of the women had a crush on him, as for me I looked at him as an Idol and someone I could emulate with. All guys envy him, the women he dated and flirted and the awards he garnered especially when he won Mr. Thomasian Personality. Every guy would want to follow his footsteps. It was also during college that word of him becoming a model spread. Since at that time balancing studies with something else seemed to be a huge success, it added additional "Pogi" points for him.
During medicine days, he was still popular and most guys were eclipsed by his confidence. No other guy wanted to come near or equal his popularity. I am not sure when exactly Maricar Reyes and Hayden Kho eloped at this time, but I know for a fact that every guy in the campus and UST envied him because he had Maricar as a girlfriend. She was still simple at that time and still much very beautiful. I for one was put in awe, in a temporary halt everytime she passes by. She was our Pond's girl that we can see and hear within distance.
Gossip on why the couple broke was thought to be the makings of another popular, Thomasian Doctor, Dra. Vicky Belo. Dr. Kho met Dra. Belo when both of them were invited to judge Thomasian Doctors Personality (Pageant for Thomasian Doctors) in which Dra. Bello is an annual judge. I am not sure if romance suddenly sprung up or was it the enterprising and coniving Dr. Kho sprung up.
Lots of controversies came, and most of them didn't last for longevity.
Katrina Halili: Is she a victim?
Until last week when a news of a sex scandal involving Dr. Kho and Katrina Halili (the cause of break-up with Dra. Bello) erupted. First, I was skeptical then I came upon a web site showing the video of Dr. Kho and Ms. Halili singing "Careless Whisper" and gyrating to their heavily oiled awesome bodies. So at that time, I said to myself, "This is another propaganda to gain more popularity."
Is she out of the country?
Last Monday, I heard that the sex videos are for real but I never tried to search for one since I didn't believe it was true.
Yesterday while I was having my duty, my co-workers informed me that yes, indeed it was true. So, I hurried up to my cubicle and searched for the videos. But to my surprise, I saw Maricar with all her naked glory. I was disappointed and angry over Hayden. She seemed liked an angel to us, she was our breath of fresh air and our source of inspiration. Now, we may never see her and associate her to anything else but this sex video.
Maricar is the greater victim here rather than Ms. Halili since she is just an actress and no matter what happens, this scandal will boost her popularity since her image is leaning towards the sexy, bold type.
"But Maricar, she isn't just a commercial model, an actress, a member of the Star Circle; she is a doctor. Who would respect or see her directly in the eye without malice while she is in her clinic or so. She lost the respect given to her as a doctor, she lost her dignity."
I know this should also be the same with Ms. Halili, but I don't believe they are of equal status. Ms. Halili already modeled for FHM and nude photos or videos of the sort wouldn't be that surprising anymore.
Although this would mean revocation of Dr. Kho's license and criminal liabilities, I still pity him.
Running for Re-election?
On the other hand, why is Senator Bong Revilla mocking Dr. Kho over these type of harassment to women?
Hasn't he thought of the days of infidelity he had with his wife Lani Mercado?
"You shouldn't throw stones and persecute someone, when you yourself commit infidelity towards your wife."
Yes, it is appropriate and rational to have Dr. Kho pay for his unethical acts.
But come on, the one pinpointing and deeply angered is someone unethical also. Duh!
Let us leave this stuff to members of Gabriella and our Female Senators who are more equipped to handle this controversy.
And not from someone who has grave ambitions for the 2010 elections.

In any way that the act of Dr. Kho taking video of his sex act with his partner is immoral more so if without consent. We have to condemn it.. its evil. I think that Hayden should not have taped any private moment for whatever reason. If Maricar, Katrina or whoever it was knew they were videotaped, there still is no justification for it to be brought out in public. Sex is sex. Everyone does it. Do not judge the women who have been exposed without their consent. These people should still command the same respect they had before all hell broke loose. This has nothing to do about their profession. Katrina is still an actress and Maricar should still be a doctor. Sex does not and should not change any of that.

I have no sympathy for these kinds of people. They all deserve what they are going through right now. As for Maricar Reyes, she may look like an angel but man that is not what an angel should be doing. I'm sure this will bring embarassment to her for god knows how long but she looked like she did enjoy the moment so what is there to regret about. That only shows that you cannot know and judge someone from their outer beauty/appearance. Who would've guessed Maricar was that good in bed heh?
