A Doctor with an Anorexic Wife?
Dr. 90210 is a plastic surgery reality make over show on E! that not only focus on the procedure itself but on the lives of the surgeons and their families. One of my favourite character's is Dr. Rey's pretty wife Hayley. Hayley was slim to start with yet at some point she ened up getting down to 88 lbs. On Haley Rey's online site which can be viewed at the show's official website she explains why she is so tiny.....
" I actually do not exercise very much at all. However, I eat often throughout the day and only very small portions. I never, ever finish my plate and always let myself be a little bit hungry. I actually hate the feeling of being full! The trick that works for me is not really watching what I eat but the actual portion of it. If I eat dessert, I usually just eat a couple of bites. I like a lot of variety, so I'll have a small salad, a few bites of the main meal (usually meat and vegetables or pasta) and a few bites of dessert, and that's all. Then a couple of hours later I'll have a yogurt or a piece of cheese. Eating tiny portions all day has always been the way I eat and it seems to work!"
Some people online think Haley should gain weight and her hubby should be doing something to help her but he doesn't because he thinks she looks fine. I think she looks good too but what ever. Watch the show and tell me what you think. Is she too skinny to you?

it is not uncommon for an eating disorder to develop in that environment. The fact that her husband refuses to acknowledge her dropping weight only adds to her problem by leading her to believe he could care less... anorexia is a cry out that something isnt right... and being that thin isnt right. People need to think twice about praising such unhealthy thinness... it can be deadly.
I really think haley looks painfully thin-there was an episode where there were pictures of her past and old friends and she was quite a normal weight and probably at least 25lbs heavier. It really is sad that she ca not see how really unhealthy she looks,not to mention she doesn't seem very happy in her marriage...I can't blame her Dr Rey is so oblivious to her feelings.
Hayley Rey is a spoiled, whiney biotch, who in spite of the life her husband has given her, seems to think she married beneath her.
It's interesting how us anorexics can spot other anorexics at the drop of a hat. Hayley is headed down a slippery slope. If she's not anorexic now, she is headed for it. I don't know the Reys and can't make assumptions with the knowledge that actually knowing them provides, but based on the E! TV show alone (and discounting obvious editing), there is stress in the marriage that I'm sure affects Hayley. Her behaviors/choices/actions shown on the show, when taken as a whole, point to a woman trying to express herself and find purpose while living in her TV star/Surgeon/Breadwinner husband's shadow.

I think Hayley should back off Dr. Rey! She should count her lucky stars. She's blessed to have a husband and father taking great care of them. She is spoiled rotten and it's coming thru with that adorable little daughter of theirs. She won't be adorable long if she doesn't adjust her temperment...her cute daughter will then adjust hers. Let your husband have time with your kids!! After all he's their father! It's clear you don't have all the answers to their up bringing.
Hayley Rey is one of the most beautiful women on TV. In addtion to being gorgeous, she has a smokin' hot body. Too thin? Not healthy? No way! I think that deep down she is a very down to earth person who was raised with strong morals and values. Unfortunately, she has been exposed to and given a life-style that contradicts her personality. She has everything a woman could want, except the love and (emotional) support from her husband. And I wonder if she could ever give up all the comfort conveniences in exchange for the happiness she truly wants. I suppose this could be a perfect example of opposites attracting. It's unfortunate that Dr. Rey cannot appreciate what a wonderful wife he has. Guess he's too busy sqeezing women's breasts all day. What a creep!

UUgghh...I cant stand Hayley Rey! She is soooo negative. She is NEVER content. She complains constantly about how hard her life is because her husband is never home. BOO HOO. My husband just had to get another job just to make ends meet, and I am also working full time with 2 kids as well. I cant take her sniveling little bitching. She is ruining their daughter, and doesn't respect a thing Dr. Rey does or says. I am trying to find some info on a surgical procedure that Dr Rey did on a show, i googled his name and of course it takes forver to find any ACCURATE info because the first 10000 matches is nothing but a bunch of freaks like yourselfs pissing and moaning about this man and his wife as if you guys know him or something....If you treat people that you dont know lke this i would hate to see how you people sit and gossip and run your mouths about people you do know. and that is giving you people credit by assuming you have friends. I sorta agree with omg you people. Well if Dr. Rey hasn't divorced her by now there is something he has seen in her. But one thing I dont like is how she uses him. I mean the kitchen that she had in the episode i watched today she redid it and she added this horrible pillars like ones in the museum and it all fell apart so she called he freaking mom and Dr. Rey was like she brought her there to kill him and as soon as she arrived he didn't talk again
I don't usually watch all the shows, but Dr. Rey's wife is horrible to him. She tares up the house, never completes anything and complains so much. I don't understand why women who have everything are always so unhappy.
i think shes just lost motivation... she doesnt hv her own ambitions in life... shes a couch potato... and she should seek therapy and get someone to help her with the kids ... & she should find an interest in life... she should get treatment for her eatin disorder & focus on her instead of havin so much time in her hands and doin nothing with it... the house is a mess.. shes a mess (no idea on what is a beauty salon or on how to dress) the kids i dont know i hv no opinion on that maybe their just kids theyll come around... I think Dr Rey will wake up one morning and look over at Hailey and think to himself "shyt, I've been cheated!" Despite concerted attempts to actually like Hailey, I unfortunately have to admit that I have seen nothing about her to think well of. As a mother, she is an embarassing failure... as a wife **cough cough**; did someone forget to tell her she's married and that marriage is about partnership? Seriously speaking, even if it was a case of just marrying a pretty girl, she just really isn't where that's at either. Intelligence? Sorely lacking. Ambition? Can she even spell that? ... Logic? Non existant. Respect? What's that? - End of the day, she is just some annorexic rich girl who thinks the world revolves around her and that everyone in her life thinks the whole world of her and are there to serve her in some way. dr.rey was not making any money before he met hayley. all of his patients would get procedures and then not pay. he himself stated that if it wasn't fo her going after people and making them pay their bills, he would have been bankrupt long time ago.
p.s., she problem got an eating disorder because her husband is always saying how beautiful every other women is and don't pay a lick of attention to her.i have never seen her with anyone besides the kids and her family(who he really doesn't want around)and he is emotionally and verbally abusive.
