Head In The Clouds - Something To Say
52Dreaming
It has always been obvious to me that I was a person that had something to say. The question was in what manner would it be said. Since a tiny thing my fascination with the arts have lead me by my wittle nose. My Mama said, "U danced on your toes like a ballerina at two years old" which was the first sign that my little body craved self expression...but not yet. I became an artist and I began to draw, entering contest and winning, for my classmates, for myself and when I didn't do that I wrote short stories in english classes and was called up front to read them in front of the whole class as my teacher was so impressed...so was I. Eventually around the 6th grade it was decided...my destiny was to shake my groove thang and teach others to do it as well as I. That may have been impossible but at least it would be worth a try (smile). By the time I was in high school my goals changed again, deciding that maybe that wouldn't be my venue either. All of this brought me to where I am now...figuring out that writing and poetry is the best way for me to have my say...and say it where maybe the truth isn't so hard to bear and love don't hurt quite so much...with just the right touch. Perfect.

Why not convert this diary entry into a poem! It is musically appealing and has a lovely haunting pulse. It could work!
