Generally, people think that headache is a result of eye trouble or weakness. Then, they go to a optical vendor and prepare a goggle for eyes. Actually headache can occur due lot more different reasons. Its possible that headache might be due to weakness in eyes but it is not the case always. Its solution is there with ophthalmologist and not with an optical vendor.

Nowadays headache is a common trouble and eye diseases are one of the chief reason behind them. In a modern life style, headache can occur due to a variety of reasons such as High blood pressure, fever, nose-throat-ear problems, neurological problems, weakness, overload of work, anxiety etc.

Headache and age groups –

A headache, which is due to eye trouble, can occur at any age due to various reasons. There are different reasons for headache in children, young ones and elders.

Headache in Children –

If there is problem in vision, a child can have headache on a regular basis. This headache can be due to reading or watching TV. If a child watches the TV with a very little distance or he is not able to see clearly on blackboard or writes after bending too much, it shows that headache is due to eye troubles. If parents use goggles for vision, children must be examined for any eye troubles at regular interval. Headache is cured after using adequate lens goggle and due eye care. One must give healthy food to children which contains a lot of vitamin A, such as carrots etc.

Headache in young generation –

Excessive use of computers, mobiles and TV and such gadgets is major cause of headache in young gen. Defective vision and imperfect no of lens of goggle can also be a cause. Working for long hours in front of computer without giving a break can give eye pain, head pain and fatigue, this is called computer vision syndrome. Cure of eyes is using adequate eye drops and using exact lens in goggles to correct the vision. In eyes, there are 6 major muscles that give movement to eyeballs in different directions. If there is lack of coordination in muscles due to any reason, it may give rise to headache. Conversion exercises may cure this type of eye problems.

Headache in elders –

After the age of 40, change in size of eyeball, defect in vision, fast change in no of lens, cataract and swelling in eye muscles can be main reasons behind headache. Therefore it is necessary that after attaining the age of 40 years one must undergo complete eye check up. In cataract, pressure in eye increases slowly and it slowly damages the eye muscles. In initial stages there is not much trouble so generally it can not be detected very easily. So, to save oneself from cataract, one should undergo complete eye test and thereafter every 6 or 8 months one should keeping on checking. Acute glaucoma conditions reduces vision very fast, vomit and headache in half portion of head are the common symptoms.

Things to Remember :

1. Lens or optic goggles are not the cure for every kind of headache.

2. On having headache for prolonged time one should undergo full eye test under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.

3. There are a lot more reasons for headache to occur apart from eye troubles, which should be diagnosed and cured.

4. Whoever uses optic goggles or lens for proper vision, they should check their number of lens periodically.

5. One should use a good quality of eye drop specially after the age of 40 years.
