Heal From Within

 All of us have often been told to live in the moment and have no expectations. This can be hard given the endless number of worries that crop up on a day-to-day basis. But with a few simple steps you can bring some joy and clarity to your life.

 NOTICE YOUR BELIEFS:

 It's important to have a right set of beliefs. Remember positive attitudes stimulate growth and success and attract more positivity in your life. It's important to examine your beliefs and choose life-enhancing ones. Often one does not realise it, but they harbour negativity deep within. Try and think about what is bothering you and work on establishing a positive relationship with it.

 BE RECEPTIVE TO BODY CHANGES:

 Your body is a sensitive intuitive receptor. Though most of us don't realise it, our body very often gives us signals to slow down, take a break or alter our lifestyle. Learn to enjoy your intellect and revel in your physicality as well. A recurring headache should not be dismissed as a one-off but could mean something more serious.

 SENSE YOUR ENERGY LEVEL:

 While our bodily changes are rather visible, on another level there are energy changes taking place. Chinese medical practitioners call this as 'chi', a vital substance which penertrates the body and extends beyond. These vibrantly coloured energy fields, whose centers are called chakras have a significant effect on our health. Hence it's essential to learn to sense this energy within us, recognise when it is off, and learn to correct the inbalance.

 SEEK INNER GUIDANCE:

 Within each of us is an intuitive voice that contains answers about our healing. Because our intellect is often so loud, this voice gets drowned. Learn to access the stillness within, though meditation, quiet contemplation, being one with nature or simply by praying.

 LISTEN TO YOUR DREAMS:

 Every ninety minutes, each night during the REM stage of sleep, we dream. Dreams often provide answers about health, relationships, career choices, any new direction. The secret is to remember them. Try keeping a dream journal by your bed and before snoozing for the night, think about what is on your mind. The next morning, write down any dreams that you recall and you may just find your answer within your dream.
