It's so funny that you wrote this. I was just eating watermelon the other day when I thought to myself, other than water, what are the benefits of watermelon. Your post is much better than mine would have been, thanks!

I was told that watermelon is full of sugar and so turns to carbs and is a negative food when trying to loose weight. I have struggled with that one as it is fruit, natural and full of water and now I know all the other great benefits, I am looking forward to slicing up the melon that is waiting to be eaten in the fridge, in the morning Thank you for the great hub.

Watermelon is my favorite fruit among the others that is very good for your health. I enjoy the fragrant smell, so refreshing and delightful. I had to juice my watermelon with ice and just enjoy it like that. I saw on TV news yesterday that is an alternative for viagra. Well, there you go! Ladies and Gentlemen! Enjoy your summer!
