President Obama's brand of health care reform is discriminatory. Our elderly helped get America to the enviable position of American prosperity. Now he wants to sack the best health care in the world and exchange it for a Canadian style plan?

It is unjust to deal with our elders in the way Barak Obama wants to treat them.

Obama's plan is to ration care for the elderly and the disabled, but ironically to give full care to illegal immigrants at no charge at all to them. It is the elderly, remember, who have been paying into the system all their lives. Why do we have to benefit illegal aliens at our expense?

What is Obama's motive? If I didn't know better, I would think he wants the US to become another Nazi regime and he feels it's okay to exterminate the weak, the old, and the poor. Everything points to that outcome.

But Obama had better trod lightly on us seniors.

There are about 100 million senior citizens in America who will be adversely served if Congress passes health care as currently constituted. Here are a few of the outrageous  aspects of the 1,000-page bill that most in Washington haven't read:

• PG 30, Sec 123: Establishes a government committee that decides what treatments/benefits you get.
• PG 29, Lines 4-16: Directly rations health care for the elderly.
• PG 50, Section 152: Extends benefits and coverage to illegal immigrants.
• PG 58: The creation of a national ID health card and a comprehensive federal database containing streaming data on every American's personal financial records.
• PG 59: The federal government accesses your bank accounts for mandatory funds transfers.
• PG 65, Sec 164: Creates special, federally-subsidized coverage for Unions and "Community Organizing" groups. (Congress and the president also have this special coverage. What are we the scum of the nation?)
• PG 85, Line 7: Limits what private insurers can offer (rationed care).
• PG 102, Lines 12-18: Mandates Medicare for all who fit criteria (removes all choice).
• PG 124, Lines 24-25: Bans companies from suing the federal government, bans the entire judicial system from hearing any cases on the legitimacy of this blatantly unconstitutional socialist health care takeover (no judicial review allowed whatsoever).
• PG 170, Lines 1-3: Stipulates that all non-resident aliens pay nothing (we foot the bill).
• PG 195: Federal officers will have full access to every citizen's most private records.
• Pg 239, Line 14-24: Rations Medicaid services for low-income Seniors.
• PG 268, Sec 1141: Imposes regulations on rental & purchase of power driven wheelchairs.
• PG 272, Sec. 1145: Cancer treatment rationing..
• PG 335, Line 16-25, Pg 336-339: Imposes more rationing of services.
• PG 354, Sec 1177 - Rationing of care for special needs people.
• PG 425, Lines 4-12: Creates mandatory end of life consultation.
• PG 425, Lines 17-19: Mandatory government instruction and consultation on living wills, durable power of attorney, etc.
• PG 429, Lines 10-12: Empowers the federal government to order end-of-life plans through something called, "advanced care consultation."
• Pg 429, Lines 13-25: Puts the federal government in charge of which doctors can write an end of life order.
• PG 430, Lines 11-15: Puts the federal government in complete control of what care you receive at the end of your life.

How Can Seniors Stop Obama Health Care?

Everyone should write, fax, or call their congressman. Determine when they will be in town during the recess and when and where they will hold townhall meetings. Plan to be there and bring along some friends. Walk up to the front and stand in line to question your representative. Whether they are Democrats or Republicans, ask if they are planning to vote for this health care bill. If so, tell them about some of the rationing of care that the bill calls for.

Ask if they received a "kick-back" from the president?

Tell them that the cost of this bill -- about a trillion dollars -- will put this country further in debt. We already are looking for deficits of almost ten trillion dollars over ten years due to the TARP and Stimulus Bills that were passed by Congress and which should have gone toward job creation.

Did you know that as of today they have only spent ten percent of the Stimulus money? That's only about 70 Billion Dollars. Ask when the money will be used to create jobs as was promised.

Most of all, emphasize how these Congressmen who plan to vote for this Health bill will get voted out of office by seniors and other Americans who think their bill is discriminatory, wasteful, confiscatory, and totally unfair. It's an affront to our private enterprise system and attacks Constitutional privacy doctrine.

We have the power. Most seniors vote in elections and we comprise one third of all Americans. Fifty-three percent of seniors voted for John McCain in the last election. Only 45 percent voted for Obama. All we need is an additional five percent to defeat him in 2012.

President Obama is using a familiar tactic to sell his plan to completely overhaul the best health care system in the world – fear! He knows that no one will support his socialist scheme unless he can convince America that there is a health care “crisis.”

There is no health care crisis! Polls show that 84% of Americans are “very satisfied” or “satisfied” with the health care they currently receive.

But you aren’t hearing that from the liberal media. Brent Bozell nailed it when he said, “The media need to stop acting like arsonists when it comes to their reporting on the U.S. health care system, starting a fire and then suggesting putting it out with a government takeover of one-fifth of our economy.”

Ever since Obama made health care the crisis of the day, the media have dealt us a steady diet of slanted coverage, distorting or omitting important facts along the way.
