Health and Wellness: Don't worry about looking like a fitness model!

Strenuous exercise, not absoulutely necessary

 As a fitness trainer, and natural health consultant, I never recommend over-strenuous exercise, when not training for a specific event.  When we are exercising to promote wellness, and balance within our bodies, it is not necessary, nor recommended to train as though you, are training for an athletic event.  In the long run, you could end up injuring yourself, which is of no value in achieving health, and wellness!

Many people make the mistake, of trying to look like others who have attained a high level of fitness.  There's nothing wrong with that, but we must understand that the reason we are exercising, is because that is what is needed for the body to function, as necessary.  If you want to be a fitness model, you'd better be prepared to spend 20hrs and more training.  By eating those foods, which provide the necessary, "life giving energy", to promote and sustain life, we maximize cellular growth, allowing all systems to function as necessary, ridding the body of wrong conditions, and promoting right conditions, which is conducive to a total sense of well being, good health, and a healthy appearance.  Exercise is the necessary fine tuning, without which, all the nutrients in the world couldn't provide health.  We must have the combination of both of the two regimens, healthful eating, and proper living, which means, an active life style.  Those who live sedentary lives, can never achieve or maintain health.  Those who eat wrong foods, can never attain, nor maintain optimum health. 

Yet, many trainers and such, promote regimens that, are not truly conducive to longevity of health.  Their regimens are too strenuous, and scare most people away!  Most trainers, never understand the relationship, of maximizing nutritional intake, from whole foods.  They most times, promote nutritional supplements, and regimens, not of natural origin, which can never create a positive result of any lasting quality.  We must understand that, supplements, are just that, supplemental to the foods, we should be putting into our bodies.  We and all life, are products of the natural order, we come from what the earth is made of, and as such, our nutrients, must come from the earth.  Nutritional absorption, which causes cellular generation, versus the way most Americans live, in a constant state of cellular degeneration, which causes, poor sense of well-being, sickness, diseases, and premature death!  The foods which contain, "life giving energy", for the cells are: fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, sea life, non-poisonous herbs, and naturally occuring super-nutrients.

Americans eat a diet of the worst types of foods, with little or no nutritional value.  They are dead foods, with nothing for the cells to draw energy, to create other cells, subsequently our systems can't function as necessary.  Dead foods are: fast, highly cooked, highly salted, highly sugared, processed, synthetic, greasy, meaty, etc., you know the foods most Americans eat, and then wonder why they're fat, and unhealthy!   

As a 50yr old man, I truly only train about 5hrs per week, and that's out of 168hr week, and I have a high level of fitness.  If I were to train more, I would have a higher level.  It is really my internal regimen, which keeps me young, fit, and mainly (but not completely), trim.  Trust me I don't look like a 25yr old, but I do have the internal health, of a 25yr old American.  This level of internal health is obtained by living, and eating the opposite of average Americans!  I live on a diet high in fiber, with numerous combinations of blended fruits, and vegetables.  I do eat meats, but in very minimal poritions. I actually eat only 2 meals per day, with fruit blends, water, and herbal teas, with raw natural honey, as my main sources of sustainance.  I eat mostly original Asian cuisine, and almost never, crappy American food!

My high level of health, comes from the fact that, from my superior diet, I have attained a high level of immune function! I don't get sick, I get lots of rest, I don't eat American foods, I don't poison my system with drugs or alcohol, I keep as much stress out of my life as humanly possible, and I exercise! Most people think that, I am a fitness fanatic, and that I am vegetarian or something of that nature, but none of that is true.  I just eat a diet which is very high in, "life giving nutrients", and the results speak for themselves.

So this is what I'm trying to get you to see, it's not so much about exercise, it's about what we put into our bodies!  People in America don't look the way they look, and suffer from so much disease by magic. It's because they eat the worst foods possible, they smoke, they drink alcohol, and sugary drinks, they take drugs (legal, and illegal), and they lay around, never doing anything of physical value!  You have to do something!  Something is positive, and nothing is negative.  When we do nothing, there can be only one result, and that is negative.  If we eat right, exercise, live in mainly positive manners, then the results we attain, will have mainly a positive effect.  You don't have to become a fanatic, just live logically, and simplistically eating the foods, from which we come.  If you're eating right foods, exercising, and doing other things which promote positive life, you're going to have the appearance of someone with good health, because you'll actually be healthy! So what, you can't look 25 anymore, you can live long healthy life, and you'll look good doing it!  Always remember, You have the ability to, Stay Young Naturally!

"This article sends the wrong message! People are overweight, and unhealthy because of the way the live, and if the way the live is negative, then guess what, you'll be unhealthy! Americans eat the least nutritious foods, drink the worst drinks, live inactive lives, and do nothing that is conducive to health, and long life. It's not the genes, it's not this, or that, but that they live in a manner conducive to sickness, disease, poor quality health, premature aging, and untimely death! I would suggest all of you that, think so foolishly should read some of the hubs from, "fountainyouth", if you're truly interested in the reality of health, and life! Attaining maximum health, doesn't happen by magic, it takes pride, effort, knowledge, and a desire to live long, healthy life!"

Also, not everyone can be a size zero and that doesn't necessarily mean they are unhealthy.

Finally, As "a president" I suggest you set a good example to those you are leading and not refer to others that they think foolishly!

Eating right IS the hardest part. All pieces in the puzzle are important - flexibility, strength, cardio, consistancy and especially nutrition. Even consistancy is easier than the food choices. The media has trained us to crave and only want what is not healthy. The fast foods are better than they used to be but the culture is stuck in Super Bowl Sunday foods rather than the homemade comfort foods.

Thank you for sharing and being honest. Honesty goes a long way.

And a healthy weight loss can only be achieve wit exercise and good nutrition. There is no one item for weight loss - make no mistake - food intact has to change.

I love your term "dead foods" - that is excellent! Descriptive and true!

having an active lifestyle and the proper choice of food truly makes us healthy, but I agree with Lady_E, there are just people who struggle to loose their body fats despite of their effort.
