Spinach is also good for pregnant women who are constipated.1 can of spinach and drink 8 ozs of water with that and it will help with constipation with in 24 hrs.Better for you and baby during pregnancy.Im a mother of 7 and spinach helped me out alot during pregnancy and I also gave the advice to doctors for natural constipation relief for pregnant moms
Spinach is indeeed very good for you. My favourite spinach dish is the spinach pie and expecially the Greek spinach pie, spanakopita.
I have spanakopita every other day, its so tasty and healthy.! Mmmm, Spinach also offers twice as much fiber as other greens!
Spinach is really helpful for inflammation I can attest to that! I was having a problem with my foot swelling and they did not know why so I researched some foods. I found that spinach was a natural way to reduce inflammation.

Some great information here Len, just a bit to add for your readers, Spinach is also a great cleanser of your colon, which can some times irritate people and keep them awake at night.
