Easy To Make And Money Saving Packed Lunches For School Going Kids

Another school season. Lot of head scratching for making packed lunch for kids.Here are some ideas which I am using for the last 3-4 years.
These packed lunch boost kids vitamin, mineral, nutrients, healthy fat and fibre intake. These packed lunch also save money for kids and parents. If you any other idea please let me know.
- Clementines are great for school lunches. Good Source for vitamin C.
- Small pizzas-.Slice hard rolls, bagels, or English muffins in half. Top with tomato sauce seasoned with Italian seasoning. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and pizza toppings. Broil until cheese melts.
- Cold-cut roll ups (lean, low-fat turkey, ham, or roast beef with low-fat cheese on whole wheat tortillas)
- Cracker sandwiches (whole-grain crackers filled with low-fat cream cheese or peanut butter and jelly)
- Cut carrots, cucumber, and cabbage in small pieces.add a small sppon of olive oil, salt
- Whole wheat bagels with either creme cheese
- Apples with Carmel dip
- Chicken nuggets. are good
- Cook fun pasta noodles and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
- Vanilla yogurt topped with fresh fruit and cookies
- Pitas stuffed with cheese and raw veggies
- veggie sticks with low-fat dip or dressing
- Tortilla wraps filled with leftover stir-fry and rice
- Spinach salad with different berries
- Mangoe fruit smoothie
- Orange fruit smoothie
- Bean salad with lime dressing topped with cheese
- Brown bread slice topped with cheese spread
- Tuna or salmon salad (great healthy brain and heart food) spooned onto whole grain crackers.
- Broccoli with dressing topped with walnuts
- Applesauce sprinkled with cinnamon
- Raw veggies on the side with salsa
- Grapes dipped in chocolate.

Great suggestions. I make celery stuffed with cream cheese. I include baby carrots for a vegetable. You can get thermos for hot beverages and send soup or hot cocoa in their lunch kit during the winter. The thermos keeps the liquid pretty warm.
