Hear America Sing! Obama's Acceptance Nomination for President of the United States of America, a Poem by Terry Hammes

Forty-Five Years from Martin Luther King's "I have a dream"

Hear America Sing

Land of the Free and Home of the Brave

We Await, we hear, we seek

A brand new day, Technology Ways

America is Free and Brave

We Hope this begins for America

An Involved and Caring new Generation

Starting this day

Americans, the People, of

All Colors and Creeds

Obama for Change

A Black Man as President

Nominated Tonight!

Who Could Conceive?

What We Now All Believe.

An Era is Gone a New Day Dawn

Politics as Usual won't ever be the Same

I have a Dream and We have a Dream

The future of our country

Let's Steer; Let's Lead

So, we all may be in

A defining Moment in History

Defined by US all in this Land of Liberty

From the South Side of Chicago

Where were I too was born

See this man now Statesman stands tall

To the height of power

A Better Life for US all

To Protect the Brave

Of Courage for all Change

Found this major Talent

To Encourage, to Elect, will Benefit all

Invest in America

The American Way

It is America, Issues of the Day

The War in Iraq

Bring the Troops Home

We have had enough WAC

Oil is expensive, more than ever before

But not as much as the Soldiers

Who do not live to tell

Bring Jobs to America

Hire Our Sons and Daughters

Grow our Prosperity

Care for us with Affordable Health Care for all

Lower Interest for home mortgages

Go to the gas pump without losing your bankroll

Protect America here too and we all will be free to be

Instead of George Bush and Failed Republican Policies!
