Heidi Montag was born in Colorado in September, 1986 and moved to California with her family when still young. When Lauren was given her own series 'The Hills', which premiered in May 2006, Heidi was also in the series sharing her apartment while they both studied at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.
