Perfect for small gatherings and parties
Heineken lovers rejoice! In fact, anyone who enjoys a few wobbly pops here and there should take note. Heineken has introduced a new draught system that is intended for your living room or basement - the BeerTender.
With new 5 litre sized mini-kegs having just been introduced by Heineken in North America at most liquor shops, all you need to do is get the draught hardware online and buy your min-kegs at the liquor store. It is very simple to use, lightweight, attractive and keeps your beer cold and carbonated with its internal CO2 system.
Next time you have a party, why not give it a shot. It's actually a riot having your own portable beer tap in your house. The 5L kegs are also just big enough to serve a small gathering and aren't as cumbersome as their larger versions.
The draught system keeps the beer tasting good for a long time. I was surprised at how cool and carbonated it kept the Heineken - not getting warm and gross and keeping it's crispness.
If you like Heineken or beer at all, this is definitely worth considering the investment of the BeerTender. Right now on Amazon (where I picked it up recently), you'll see it come packaged with a bunch of extra's you'll probably need somewhere down the line for around $179-199. The mini-kegs of course are going to be extra, but after you make the initial investment for the BeerTender and figure you'll use it more than a few times, I think you'll find it's worth it.
I use it all the time for small gatherings and little inpromtu parties. In fact, people actually look forward to coming over now, bah - freeloaders. I wouldn't have bothered making this hub if I really didn't think this was the coolest - and possible tastiest- product ever.
It's actually already one of amazon's most popular products with lots of great reviews. I'd have to concur here. How hard is it actually to sell a machine that keeps beer fresh and dispenses it in a responsible manner? Hmm - probably not that hard. Another win for the Heineken folks. I wish other brands would catch on too - which I'm sure they will eventually.
But for now, tip up your cups and throw your hands up for the BeerTender by Heineken. I hope you enjoy yourselves - I know I am.
