So I did

In the name of science

In the name of humanity

I created a 'man' - rather, a creature

Because I had the power

Hubris...

What say you - that I let the pride get the better of me?

Oh but I answer - look at my creature!!

Born half-formed of mind - don't look at the body

It is hideous!

Of course I ran away...my creature was ugly and powerful and frightening

(And half-grown of mind - which means I left it, abandoned it at its 'birth')

But I had the power and means to CREATE!

Is that what was not important? By the grace of knowledge?

My appearance - hideous.
