Hello Dreamwalker

The actual title of this post is "Good-bye Royal Decorated Armor Chest-piece, Hello Dreamwalker," but as you can see, it is a bit wordy.

The Dreamwalker chest-piece is the newest addition to my collection of armor. Unfortunately, my bags were full of armor and weaponry and the tools of my trade, so I found it necessary to free a bag slot by selling an item from my "closet" of armor. Sadly, I had to sell one of my favorite chest pieces, my Royal Decorated Armor Chest-piece, to the vendor in order to make room. I must say I didn't set out to acquire new armor today. My goal today was to get my UBRS key, but that's another story.

I happened to wander into Org, and I ran into my friend, Malfecious, who wasn't doing anything in particular. Almost at the same moment I greeted Mal, I received a whisper from Kamakura. It seems Kam was over in Feralas, Dire Maul to be precise, making the Ogres' lives miserable. Kam wanted to know what I was up to, and I responded nothing much, just hanging around Org with Mal. Why don't you come to DM (Dire Maul) says Kam, to which I responded okay and headed towards the Wind Rider platform to hop on the next Wind Rider headed for Camp Mojache.

The weather was nice and the flight was pleasant, and I arrived in Feralas refreshed and ready to "meet and greet." Mal touched down almost the exact same moment, so we proceeded to Dire Maul without delay. We soon met up with Kam, Brokta, and Amino, and we started "engaging" the Ogres. After quickly dispatching several Ogre Mage Lords and Brutes, we made our way to the Arena. The battle in the arena was swift, and upon successfully downing our opponent, the loot dropped. Among the loot was the Dreamwalker Chest piece!! I confess there was other loot, but I only had eyes for Dreamwalker.

Since the item was Bind On Equip (BOE), Brokta instructed us to roll for the piece. I held my breath at each roll of the die. Finally, I took my turn, and when it was announced I had won, I was ecstatic!!!

Dreamwalker has an armor rating of 365 and enchantments of 17 Stamina, 20 Intellect, and 20 Spirit. It is comparable to the chest piece of my dungeon armor set, The Elements. Those are stats too great to resist!! Alas, the dilemma of "no bag space" became immediately apparent.

After inspecting the chest pieces in my collection, I took the painful decision to sell my much adored Royal Decorated Armor Chest piece. I had won "Royal" at the conclusion of one of many battles against General Angerforge, and it had become one of my favorite chest pieces. "Royal's" stats (344 Armor; 8 Strength, 12 Agility, and 26 Stamina) are perfect for tanking and solo work, and it is beautiful to boot!!!

So, with heavy heart and "Royal" in hand, I made my way to the vendor and placed the piece for sale with the hope the next owner would enjoy it as much as I had.

"Royal" I shall miss thee.
