Need to sell your home due to PCS orders?

For military members who are due for a permanent change of station between 1 July 2006 and 30 September 2012, and purchased their home before 1 July 2006, and you're unable to sell your home due to falling property values, you might be able to receive help from the VA.

The government offered help for many years to military home owners having to sell due to a base closure or force re-alignment. This year the government offers help to military home owners who needed to sell because of PCS (Permanent Change of Station) orders.

With the national declining of real estate values, the government saw a need to take some of the financial burden off of military home owners who are having to sell their homes for less than they owe on their mortgages.

While there is some speculation that the guidelines for the latest pool of stimulus money could still change, I would like to show you some resources if you are a military home owner having to sell your house for less than you owe because of PCS orders.
