Help to Quit Smoking
54I want to take a minute of your time for you to hear my story on how I got help to quit smoking. I hope it inspires you to make that first step in your journey to a smoke free life. It is the hardest but once you overcome it, you won't look back. I started smoking in high school at 13. I only did it because it "was
cool" to hang out with your friends and enjoy a cigarette.
From
the moment I took my first drag on a cigarette my body was already
telling me it didn't like it by making me sick and giving me headspins.
But being young and stuid I pushed through this because my friends and
people I wanted to be around would have put crap on me for wussing out.

Years later and I am a regular smoker. It didn't happen straight away
but I was hooked even before I knew it. What began as a social thing
turned into a habit and I couldn't shake it. I tried the patches and
the gum but they were never that effective for. I even tried a
prescription medicine that actually gave me suicidal thoughts and minor
depression.
But last year I was introduced to Miracet by my
mothers friend. She signed up to their free Stop Smoking Program and
used their nicotine craving product and I have to say, after a bit of
skepticism I actually have been smoke free now for 3 months. The Stop
Smoking Program isn't really hypnosis to quit smoking but it involves a
lot of relaxation techniques and comes with an audio MP3 music. You can also read more about my story by clicking here.
Stop Smoking Cigarettes
If you look back at your life. What is it that made you smoke in the first place? I bet it has something similar to do with my life. If you're aged 30 and over, it is hard not to be addicted to smoking. Most of our parents did it. Sports players weren't the professional athletes they are today and they were doing it. We were even bombarded with advertisements on TV of cigarette companies pitching us with their ads.
In Australia we even used to have lollies and novelty toys that resembled cigarettes. I remember one toy in particular. It was in the same shape and colour as a cigarette and the tip had red cellophone plastic on it to resemble a lit cigarette. You used to pour talcum powder inside it and put it in your mouth and blow outsides (thank God not inwards) and the powder would blow out the end of the cigarette resembling smoke. Lovely. And lets not forget those cold days walking to school and blowing frost out of our mouths - we all reenacted ourselves puffing away on a cigarette.
