Help Your MLM Network Marketing Lead with Three Choices
This is probably the simplest tip I've ever given. You might have heard of it already, if you have a sponsor who knows the value of giving your mlm Network Marketing lead a sense of control when joining your opportunity. In fact, many Network Marketers are even using this approach without consciously even realizing it.
And yet, I'm amazed by how many networkers don't help their mlm leads with this approach.
Here's what I mean.
Your mlm network marketing lead is ready to join, and you tell them to grab the start-up pack and make sure to add the distributor part in the purchasing process. Needless to say, you want him to get the best start, and you tell him to get the highest buy-in... because, after all, he needs the most to get started right, right?
Maybe you don't get your new distributors started this way, but you would be amazed at how many people do.
Instead, I recommend you go with a different plan.
Empower your mlm network marketing lead by putting the choice in his hands.
And, here's how you frame it.
You're going to give him 3 simple choices that I can sum up in 3 words:
1. Good
2. Better
3. Best
You're going to tell him why the first choice is good. And you must be sincere here... the choice you are giving him must truly be a good choice, a choice that, if made, can lead to him building a solid business with your company.
Then you're going to explain why the second choice is better. Maybe you're going to tell your mlm network marketing lead how this choice has helped other members on your team get a faster head start in your company. Or maybe you'll show him how the second choice gives him more materials (or products) to have on hand so he can share the opportunity easier. Or maybe you'll describe how the "better" automatically gives him higher commissions or a similar advantage in your pay plan (if this is how your compensation plan works).
And finally, you're going to tell him why YOU chose the BEST option.
IMPORTANT NOTE HERE... If you DIDN'T choose the BEST option, you had better explain why you now wish you had. Why? Because when your mlm network marketing lead finds out you didn't start your own business with the "BEST" option you are describing to him, you'll have broken the golden rule... you'll have proven he can't trust you. And that's definitely NOT the way to start any relationship, business or otherwise.
Now that you've empowered him with the most important decision -- good? -- better? -- best? -- you're going to shut up and let him make the choice that transforms your mlm network marketing lead into your next new distributor.
But what if he doesn't choose anything?
Then, my friend, your mlm network marketing lead is still just a lead. You're closing him into your business far too soon because he obviously doesn't have all the details if he isn't ready to make this important choice. Make sense?
I hope it does. Why? Because if you're trying to convince him to join your business, you'll be constantly convincing him to build his business, too.
