Helpdesk at your service

According to SearchCRM.com, helpdesk is a place that a user of information technology can call to get help with a problem. In many companies, a help desk is simply one person with a phone number and a more or less organized idea of how to handle the problems that come in. In larger companies, a help desk may consist of a group of experts using software to help track the status of problems and other special software to help analyze problems. This word offers a very broad meaning in terms of work but this blog will tackle only about IT Support. This is what I am doing for the last 9 years of my life, supporting user's on different problems that they may encounter on their everyday computer use. Sounds boring and easy to some, but I like this job. I like to see people smiling at you after you help them. That makes my heart full of joy and my life complete.

By the way, I am an ordinary helpesk guy on mid 20's. Currently I am employed in one of the companies here in Singapore with the position of IT Support Engineer. Everyday I encounter different computer problems as well as different users. Everyday is a very special day for me doing my job. Thru this blog, I want to share some basic knowledge that I acquire, providing simple solutions to simple common computer problems. For computer geekz, this is not a blog for you. This is only intended for computer beginners and ordinary users who value all the help that I can give.
