Ways one can help alleviate stress
We all face a time when we become stressed out, but when it begins to affect your overall sense of well being that is when it is time to incorporate different types of stress management tips to help cope with the accumulation of stress. By incorporating different ways to deal with stress you will be able to face the world in a more relaxed manner and perform at your very best.
Helpful Stress Management Tips
1. Increase your intake of Calcium- Calcium is a great vitamin not only for healthy bones, but it also has valuable properties which induce a natural calming effect on the body. Drink some milk or take some calcium vitamins, you will begin to feel a lot more at ease.
2. Exercise- By exercising you not only do your body good, but you also help increase neurotransmitters in the brain. When you exercise you get your blood pumping and blood circulation going which is great increasing the level of endorphins in the brain. Endorphins are the body's natural feel good chemicals. That is why during exercise you have a euphoric feeling.
3. Take Notes- This is one of the most helpful stress management tips because it allows you to express your inner most feelings and frustrations on paper, you not only have a chance to examine what you are feeling, but why you feel this way. It also gives you a chance to vent in a private manner and decide whether the problem is worth being stressed out about. If it isn't you can have piece of mind knowing that you expressed it and can now move on to bigger and better things.
4. Organize your time-There is nothing more stressful then trying to do too many things within a certain amount of time. If we all could chose the pace we were comfortable at moving there would be a lot of incomplete tasks that would probably never get done. By organizing your time and setting a schedule for each task puts you in a better perspective about how much time should be devoted to each specific task. This ensures that you don't spend too much time on one particular activity.
5. Cut back on caffeine- Caffeine has been known to actually increase stress chemicals in the body because it overstimulates many of our senses. It increases the heart rate, makes people feel abnormally alert and can make some people feel extra jittery. By cutting back on your caffeine intake you will not only decrease the amount of undue stress that is physically caused within the body, but you will feel more relaxed as well.
I hope
that you have learned some helpful stress management tips that you
can use when you feel burned out or when you feel as though stress is
