A person can easily find out if he or she has hemorrhoids because the hemorrhoid symptoms are clear. The reason is that any hemorrhoid is basically diagnosed through the pain it will be causing in the ano-rectal or the anal orifice of you digestive system. It is good to know the various medical terms when one is diagnosed with hemorrhoids. It's hard to detect hemorrhoids without being familiar with the hemorrhoid symptoms. Well we are here to help. Getting hemorrhoids will involve facing ano-rectal problems.

Common problems in the Anus and Rectum

You will likely suffer from fissures and fistulae when you develop hemorrhoids. The skin of our anal region is very thin, thinner than even the skin of our vagina or upper epidermis. As such, with much strain and friction you may develop fissures or cracks on your anal wall which when aggravated get transformed into fistulas.

Prolonged constipation is a common cause, but a popular reason is anal intercourse. You may also develop abscesses and irritation in the area concerned. An easily identifiable symptom and quite common is an itching and burning sensation in these areas. An oozing of blood can happen if your condition has become serious however. It should be known that there are two types of hemorrhoids and although they share these symptoms of hemorrhoids, there are also others that are distinguishable from the others.

External hemorrhoids- Its Symptoms

People that suffer from external hemorrhoids will develop swellings outside of their anus. A considerable amount of pain will be suffered because of this hard swelling. Clotting of blood circling the anus and the rectal orifice is the cause of this swelling. Blood clotting outside the anus is commonly diagnosed as a thrombosed hemorrhoid. But there are also internal hemorrhoids that can get enlarged and protrude outside the body. These however are different from the external hemorrhoids. If you have the hemorrhoid symptoms mentioned above, it means you have a case of external hemorrhoids.

Symptoms of Internal Hemorrhoids

In the event that you only have some of these symptoms but suffer from the above mentioned common symptoms, there are others to watch out for. For example when you wipe your anus with a clean tissue do blood stains appear? Another is blood mixed with your feces when you take a dump. It you have both of these symptoms, then it's quite likely that you are suffering from internal hemorrhoids. It's even possible to form an enlarged internal hemorrhoid and have it forced outside of your anus. However, this condition shouldn't be confused with the previously indicated case of external hemorrhoids.

So keep an eye out for hemorrhoid symptoms and get yourself to a doctor if ever you find them. Always remember that a doctor can help but to a certain extent, you will have to inculcate good diet habits and maintain hygiene if you want to get rid of this problem permanently.
