 HERBAL REMEDIES FOR COMMON AILMENTS

Of Vitamin C.  They are refreshing and also helpful in curbing diarrhea.

Leaves:

Usual Method of Preparation: 

Usual Dosage: 

Tea

1 tbsp leaves with

1 cup boiling water

Steep 8 minutes, strain. 

Take:

1 cup as desired.  

 

Decoction or Cold Extract:

Use 1 tbsp. with

1/2 cup cold water.

Let stand 10 hours,

Strain. 

Take:

As needed  

 

Fresh Berries: 

Eat as desired. 

 

 

Cherries :

  Eating one-half pound of cherries or the equivalent amount of cherry juice per day prevents attacks of

Gout.

 

Strawberries, blueberries and other red-blue berries are also shown to be beneficial but none as effective as the black, sweet yellow and red sour cherries.

 

Cherry juice:

 Relieves pain and inflammation of gout, and other related ailments.

Increases memory and promotes a sharp mind:

It is a good trace mineral.

 

 

 Sea salt:

Gall cleansing.

 

For gall stones:

 

Olive oil and lemon juice:

3 tablespoons of oil to 8 oz lemon juice take over night.

 

 

Brewers yeast:

For vitamin b complex.

 

 

Liquorish root:

Sore throats. 

 

 

Magnesium:

Msn

Helps with rumatoid arthritis
