  • 5-HTP: this supplement is great for relieving tension headaches, and can help with any feelings of stress, tension, or even an oncoming migraine attack
  • Peppermint Oil: this has long been used for its soothing properties, and adding just a dab of this to your temples and pulse points on your neck can help get rid of the pain almost instantly
  • Vitamin B2: if you're diet isn't up to par, try a Vitamin B2 supplement for a few weeks and you'll start to notice a change in frequency and duration almost instantly. • Lavender: dab some of this essential oil onto a napkin or washcloth, and use it as a compress on the temples and forehead. Lavender has many soothing properties and can minimize headache pain and throbbing immediately upon application
  • Thyme: Use this as part of a steam bath or facial steam, and you'll enjoy an instant clearing of the sinuses
  • Chamomile: Take this in tea form for a calming and soothing effect
