The disgruntled among us gripe non-stop. It is easy to understand. That is I with Obama, the Messiah, and the acting-president. People say they like him as a person but not his policies. Well, he might be an OK person but I do not think so because of what he is doing to our country - taking us to Communism with a brief stop at Socialism. How can anyone who knocks the Great United States of America off its foundation be an OK person? Am I wrong? Could be and we will know in time.
However, this article is not about Obama. It is about Sarah Palin - more accurately about Mrs. Palin‘s critics. I stated the above to explain that I realize we all cannot agree on everything. If we did, we would all be behavioral twins. Yes, I can easily understand why people might not like Sarah Palin. However, not for the reasons they give if they give a reason at all.
When considering her for the highest office in the land, something I want to happen, preferably in 2012, her record, ideology and perceived effectiveness are the only valid reasons for accepting or rejecting her. That, however, seems not to be the case.
Nearly every criticism disrespects her personal attributes in some way. I have a theory about the people who attack her personal attributes only. I suggest they have one or more of these personal shortcomings that get in the way of mature expression:
- They resent powerful women,
- They resent beautiful women,
- They resent bubbly women,
- They resent intelligent women,
- They resent well-adjusted women and
- They resent women achievers.
I can probably come up with more but it is not necessary, as I have already made my point.
In short, I suggest critics of only her personal attributes are losers and are jealous because the Governor outshines them.
Here are eight examples from reader’s responses to the Politico November 6 article, Palin to speak at Gridiron dinner, written by Carol E. Lee.

Palin may speak but nobody will understand her gibberish.

No one need understand Palin - that she talks and winks spitting out words like "maverick"; "socialist"; "terrorist" and the like every now and this is good enough for these air heads.

The reason Tina Fey found Palin so easy to lampoon is that Palin is an American high school archetype. She’s the pretty and moderately clever girl who figured out early in adolescence that she could get a lot farther with corrupt or gullible male authority figures by flirting, lying, pleading, appealing to pieties, and blaming other people. The lying and deceiving soon becomes near-pathological and from there turns into a life strategy: the Pious Fraud.

As soon as Palin is done speaking, please have the guys in white suits take her away in a net.
Mrs. Palin might never be our president. Nevertheless, I think we have enough fair minded people in the Great United States of America to judge her by her personal values and by her ideology. The fair minded among us will not base their votes on their own shortcomings.
During the next 2 years, before 2012 campaigning begins in earnest, I think she will win over her present detractors even if they do not admit it.
