Hey Chicken Little, is the sky falling?
45Oh wait, it's just more real estate litter destined to die unnoticed in the recycling bin.
Now that the housing market is taking a huge nosedive, the paper products dumped into my yard have increased. I dont’ know about you, but it’s really annoying to invest energy and money into a landscape only to have retail and real estate desperados violate the state’s litter laws. With the local pizza delivery joint’s latest coupons, the landscaping service cards and flyers (we have a cactus garden!), and every other unnecessary, poorly designed, poorly written piece of paper that lands in my yard, my half million dollar home looks regularly like a third world country --after the revolution! In other words, it’s a mess. Making or contributing to a mess isn’t exactly the way to your prospect’s heart, is it? (If you think it is, guess again.)How you market your services and listings says a lot about who you are and the quality of marketing, service, you give to your clients. My suggestion is to think about the response you wish to generate before you commit to a littering your farm. It may not be the response you thought you’d get. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to feed my paper shredder.
