Hi Ya`ll Back!!!!!!!!!

 

Well, we are now living in the High Desert City Of Bend Oregon.

 

It’s taken me 9 years to get here, it’s always been a desire of mine J and now it’s a reality

 

Well I did not come riding into town on a horse like John Wayne but on a BMW K100, wearing Motorcycle leathers and a Smile! With my bride in my heart and said Queen driving behind me in her Nissan and the next generation of Quinlans will probably come in flying cars and hear tell of the myth of long gone horses and wooden wheels.

 

The altitude is doing wonders for my allergies and migraines; actually they are all gone, forgotten strangers!! Yahhooooo!!!, it’s good to be alive!

 

Cynthia sends love to all and looks forward to meeting you in the near future…..got to go I’m cooking tonight and frozen egg rolls are hard to heat!!!! of course there`s always Carl’s JR………

 

Phone just rang ( Cynthia will be late) or more to the point made a buzz buzz and them some weird modern sound, boy I miss the day when you cranked a handle and asked the local gossip monger or town crier to connect you too your friend or whomever and after 5 mins of waiting and hearing about her medical condition and all about her husband’s gout and her successful son in America you were connected only to find out it was a wrong number and your town crier was now talking to someone else, so you got on your bike and rode over to your friends house to tell them why you were late, after all that was the reason you were calling.

 

So, yes I`m running off at the keyboard!!! And spending some time with family I have not seen for some time and come to think of it may not even recognize if they passed me in the street, after all so much time has passed and Mom and Pop have gone home to their heavenly rest and those of us still breathing are paying wonderful insurance premiums and out landish mortgage and car payments and secretly working for the IRS. But then, that’s the American Dream!

 

I guess now that half the countries on Antidepressants the American Dream is now a reality :-0) Wow! Man! That’s so cool they get to dream all day and the drug companies buy Homes for Johnny Cash!!!

 

 

That’s right I have lost it and when I find it you`ll be the first to know….but seriously I love this country and am delighted to see a breath of fresh air in the white house maybe now the country will develop some real culture and move away from the corporate monster it’s become and get back to Mr. Rogers Neighborhood and good old porch conversations and the true meaning of love and friendship.

 

 

Yes, your thinking Fairy tales of Ireland, but I live in Hope, after all if I have no Hope I have nothing at all and that is what Christmas is all about and those that dare to believe in Him will have their Hope restored and those that follow religion??? Well as a kid once said “If the Blind leads the Blind… you get the heck out of the way!!!
