What a fantastic Dog!

Loyal, Affectionate, Fun, Friendly, Intelligent, Low Maintenance and Highly Entertaining to try to catch as he runs away from us in a spirited game of You can't catch me!(even with his chew toy in his mouth mind you)he runs with the greatest ease zipping through the dining room table and family room... Oh sure, we can all "try" in vain to catch him, plan a fakeout or even come together as a team with our arms and legs forming a strategic barrier of an invisible wall... yet somehow and funny enough 99% of the time we just can't win! He's manages every time to run right through us!

Perhaps this agility and speed are from a distant relation to the greyhound. Although relatively the size of this breed only ranges from small to medium it does in fact have a splendid, sturdy body with amazing muscle tone especially on its hind legs quarters. With its well mannered and nicely tempered disposition... it is such a positive experience to own our beloved dog as a pet because under every circumstance he possess' the ability to acclimate to any situation or even what kind of a day it will turn out to be.

In other words...he can either be really active, or downright just a plain ole' couch potato. Because he is an indoor dog and short haired, his coat always maintains a nice sheen and he smells fresh..and so it's even easier to want to have him near, cuddle and hold him. None of us at home waver at any time the opportunity to be affectionate or attentive towards one another.

Therefore he suits our family perfectly.

Here are just a few examples: Jog or walk? You bet! He cheerfully and happily bows his little head so that leash and collar can slip right on, as his docked tail wags excitedly...he even keeps up during the jog with the sweetest grin. Now I'm sure some people other than myself have noticed that some dogs as part of their early rise morning ritual is to stretch in the basic Yoga poses of Downward and Upward Dog...right? Well, not only does our dog do these, but he also faithfully joins in on my very own daily Yoga practice...I can admit it can be quite distracting to have him up close and on the mat as I'm trying desperately to extend my concentration and or my pose at the time. Sometimes its really tough because he's so dang cute to be sitting there with his ever so wise, and thoughtful look as if expressing..."Remember to Breathe."

He is simply irresistible.

More on this lovely companion of a dog is his relentless ability to have such a strong, super special and delicate bond with each and every one of us at home, and the obvious notion of his keen sensitivities are astonishing on a daily basis.

Feeling sick? Sad? Tired? Upset? Worried? Stressed? Not only is he able to perceive all and every emotion...undoubtedly he will convey concern through his warm and very noble eyes. He has a wonderous healing effect by just being near and even more so when cuddling. His loyalty is unrelenting. 24/7. Anytime, Anywhere.

Happy? Excited, content? 1, 3, 6 kids? 10 people? 100? no matter what...he will remain well behaved and fun to be with.

More on his greatness....eager to please---always---therefore highly trainable.

Even as a puppy, he never caused any household mayhem or disruption to our schedules whatsoever...no chewing, no behavioral problems, less than minimal potty training accidents. He is able to stay at home happily for the entire day without any incident. In fact, sometimes or most of the time he won't even touch any of his food, until we are all seated together as a family and we all can eat together.

Our closest friends and family or even strangers have often remarked or say "Do you realize your dog seems to think he's a person?" Immediately we happily exclaim in unison...

"Yes!"...He is the best pup in the world and we are very lucky to have him as part of our family.
