FYI: YOU CAN VIEW HOW THIS WILL LOOK ON MY PERSONAL PROFILE GO TO THE TOP TOOL BAR ON MY SPACE AND CLICK ON FIND FRIENDS. TYPE IN ROCKINHISLASTNAME69 AND YOU CAN VIEW MY PAGE WHERE I HAVE MANY TWEAKS GOING ON. I THINK I'VE BECOME A PROFESSIONAL LAYOUT AND TWEAK MAKER ON MYSPACE. HIDE YOUR STATUS:

Go to your myspace homepage and click on EDIT PROFILE at the top of the page, at the top of the next page click on CUSTOMIZE profile. Then at the next page go to the upper left and click on MODULES find the STATUS & MOOD module and click on it until its a red face then click the YELLOW "PUBLISH" at the top right corner of the page to save it.

However if you would like to set the module to be viewable by ONLY friends scroll down to the basic info section after u set the module on the same page and at the TOP of the module roll your cursor along until you see a box pop up that says SETTINGS. You can then choose who, if anyone can view your Status and mood. It will have a down arrow that you click to show "STATUS & MOOD" or just "HEADLINE". If you choose HEADLINE it will not show ANYTHING on your main page that the public views UNLESS you type something into the headline area. Your status and mood will STILL be viewable to FRIENDS ONLY. After you submit your choice click the YELLOW "PUBLISH" key at thew top of the page again and your settings have been saved!

FYI: Your friends ONLY will still be able to see your status but the general public cannot.
