Highest salary: $181,850
Most medical professions have high pay scale, people doing surgery are the highest paid. Specialized surgeons earn the most. This is the reason why most surgeons choose to specialize in a specific area, like the heart, lungs or the brain.
2. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Highest salary: $140,880
A CEO or the Chief Executive Office is the highest ranking official within a company. They are often the highest paid. A CEO normally answers to the board of directors elected by the shareholders and are responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operational performance of the company. In smaller companies, a CEO can also be the Chairman and Director.
3. Engineering Manager
Highest salary: $140,210
Engineering managers determine specific technical goals, provide broad outlines, and plan the execution. In some cases, they are also responsible for the financial viability of a project. In short, they are responsible for plans, coordination, research, design, and production activities. Engineering managers who deal with semiconductors and electronic components manufacturing are among the highest paid. Most engineering managers also have bachelor’s degrees along with additional degrees such as MBA, a Master of Science or a doctorate.
4. Airline Pilot
Highest salary: $134,090
Pilots are ranked fourth in terms of highest-paid salary. Commercial pilots fly
only 100 hours per week following the regulations of the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA). Apart from being a pilot of a commercial airline, a pilot
can also fly helicopters, test aircraft, serve as an aviation director, crop
dust, monitor traffic, and pilot cargo planes.
After education and training, one can get hired by an airline and after gaining experience of about 5 to 15 years, one can become a captain and reap the rewards in terms of pay, benefits and choice of routes.
5. Dentist
Highest salary: $132,660
Dentists are among the top 10 highest paid people. Dentists
with specialties in orthodontics, oral surgery and pediatrics earn even more.
All
states require dentists to be licensed, so candidates must graduate from one of
the 56 dental schools accredited by the ADA.
Graduates must also pass both written and practical exams.
6. Lawyer
Highest salary: $110,590

lawyers and attorney. This group of people is among the top 10 highest-paid.
In
the field of law, there are many scopes including criminal lay, civil lay, environmental
law, entertainment law, family law, real estate law, intellectual property etc.

7. Air Traffic Controller
Highest salary: $100,430
Air Traffic Controllers are mostly employed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and are responsible for the safe operation of private and commercial aircraft. Job profile and responsibilities include coordinating movement of air traffic to keep planes at safe distances from one another and to minimize traffic delays. Job may include looking after IT security, information management, information technology deployment, software and application selection, revenue assurance, and compliance.
9. Marketing Manager

Marketing managers are highly responsible and highly-paid employees in any company. Job profile of a marketing manager varies from company to company. Marketing managers can handle jobs such as public relations, brand development, media buying, collateral and promotions development, and even the financial metrics and analytics.
