Hip Avascular Necrosis is when the blood flow to the hip joints and bones decreases causing the hip joint to weaken. This is most often caused by taking Corticosteroid medications like Prednisone or by drinking heavily for long period of time.

Avascular Necrosis Symptoms can cause mild to severe hip pain, hip joint stiffness, decrease hip joint motion, and a grinding feeling when the hip is moved.

There are several very effective Avascular Necrosis Treatment options to help decrease hip pain, increase joint motion, and strengthen the hip joints.

By doing stretching exercises every day before starting your morning routine, you will decrease your hip pain and increase your joint motion. Some stretching exercises you may do are: single knee to chest stretch, hip and glute stretch, and inner thigh stretch.

Another very effective Avascular Necrosis treatment is walking, biking, or swimming. All three of these exercises stretch out the hip muscles, increase blood and oxygen to the hip joints and muscles, and decrease inflammation. But most importantly, these exercises strengthen the hip joints and muscles.

One of the unique and maybe the most frustrating Avascular Necrosis Symptoms is increase in pain and stiffening while resting. Logically, one would think rest would decrease pain and stiffness. However when you have Hip Avascular Necrosis, if you rest too much, your joints and muscles start to inflame and tighten up causing pain. These avascular necrosis symptoms can decrease by doing some simple stretches and taking a short walk. This will increase blood flow and oxygen to the joints and muscles decreasing the inflammation and decreasing the pain and stiffness.

Another natural and easy Avascular Necrosis Treatment is using over the counter pain reliever cream called Arnica. By applying Arnica over the hip muscles, your avascular necrosis symptoms will disappear. Best of all, it is odorless, clear, and dries instantly.
