How Pixels and Metal Halide Lamps are used with a LCD projector
As you scan every word you will begin to discover how new individual pixels are opened allowing light to go through, or closed to stop the light as the polarized light goes through the panels that are made up of the polarizer, analyzer and LCD panel.
As you can imagine for the liquid crystal display LCD projector to display images, light from the metal halide lamp is sent through a prism that divides this light into three poly silicone panels of red, blue and green signal components of the video.
You probably know that to get an ideal color temperature and a broader color spectrum, metal halide lamps are used. Apart from giving a broad color spectrum, the metal halide lamps have the capability to emit a lot of light in a very small area. Can you picture a wide range of colors and shades in the image are produced through the combination of closing and opening of the pixels.

How a CRT projector works
There are several ways to arrange the CRT. One is by using a tube coated with three phosphor coatings such as blue red and green. The other is by spinning a color wheel in the case of a black and white tube. The last option is the using of three CRTs; one blue, one green, and one red. The small CRT projector is able to create an image just the same way a traditional CRT television does by firing a beam of electrons onto a phosphor-coated screen.
When it comes to LCD Projector Repair
Keep in mind that the LCD projector is much smaller and it is easy to replace or repair the LCD chip and it is not prone to burn-in. Since the individual pixels are visible on the large screen making it look like the viewer is looking through the screen there are high chances of defective pixels also there are fewer viewing angles with the LCD Projector.
To save money on repair the LCD projectors sponge or cloth intake filters must be cleaned or replaced after every 100-300 hours of projector use and should be professionally cleaned internally at least every 2 years, to remove dust particles that show on, or tint the projected image. The built up dust and dirt that prevents good airflow to cool the lamp and electronic components need to be cleaned out.
CRT Projectors Advantages and Disadvantages
A CRT projector has its own advantages as well as disadvantages compared to other types of projectors such as LCD models. The Hitachi projector television is made of the CRT projector has the following advantages: the CRT projector has a longer life span and can achieve brilliant color reproduction and is able to display varying resolutions since it's not restricted to fixed pixel resolutions. The CRT Projectors have a great black level as well as contrast ratio. Some disadvantages are CRT is phosphor-based is prone to burn-in. In order to maintain color and brightness balance all CRTs have to be replaced even if only one fails. Due to the CRT projector is heavy and quite large which results in focus problems.

Digital Light Processing (DLP) is also one of the leading technologies used in digital cinema projection and DLP is the current market-share leader in professional digital movie projection, largely because of its high contrast ratio and available resolution.
Yes that is correct, although that is a very fancy definition for a device that is often referred to as a "boob tube". ;)
LOL your right about that. Smile.

I have owned a DLP rear projector for 4 years and I have been really happy. At the time they were the best option for an affordable HDTV.
